Turtle Studios will be taking part in the Newton Open Studios on Saturday, June 26. There will be art for sale at this event. Also the studios will be having an Open House to try and attract new members.
A democratically-run artist cooperative located in Newton, Massachusetts that offers artmaking workshops, artist evenings, art shows and other events open to the public. All of our activities are geared towards providing a place where people of all traditions, cultures, ages, economic means, with and without prior art experience, can make their own art.
Camille, her paintings and her work with Youlou Arts Foundation have been featured in a documentary called Who does she think she is?, a feature length documentary exploring the lives of five women artists who are also mothers. In the film, each of the women sustains the competing claims on her heart despite financial hardship, institutional disinterest and lack of support.
Youlou Arts Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Youlou Arts Foundation was founded in 1999 by Camille Saunders Musser, an artist and resident of SVG.
